France's leading blood sample institution. A reference both nationally and internationally, it collects over 250,000 units of blood per year, enabling it to cover regional needs and to meet the requests of other French regions. It has a staff of over 600 people. Thanks to its built-in labs, it can meet the request of prescribers, develop production and then manufacture a full line of labile blood products. The production of these substances was made possible by adopting high-performance and innovative techniques and tools, thus ensuring that all safety standards in force are met. The EFS Nord de France is also a major producer of cell reagents for labs.
