Set up in Lys Les Lannoy, outside Lille, in 1977, the French subsidiary of Schering is one of the group's most important production sites. It is also active in research, marketing and sales. The company manufactures and sells about sixty specialty products (approx.100 presentations) in the following therapeutic areas : Hormonology (oral contraception, endocrinology, menopause), Dermatology (treatment of skin inflammatory processes and acne), Central nervous systems (Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis), Cardiovascular diseases (artheriopathies, Medical imaging (contrasts for X-rays, NMR, ultrasound), and Oncology (prostate cancer, leukemia).
