In the heart of the rich metropolitan area with a population of 1.5 million and 90,000 students, Lille II, the University of Law and Health offers highly diversified and original training opportunities in Law, Health and Sports Management.
It is openly of a cross-disciplinary vocation.
With many disciplines and centers, the University of Law and Health - Lille 2 - relies on the experience and development achieved in the last four centuries.
With 900 lecturers-researchers and permanent lecturers, a staff of 600 engineers, administrative staff, technical staff, workers, offering services and in the library, 23,000 students and 200,000 m² / 2,150,000 sq. ft. of buildings at about twenty sites, our University is centered around the following :

A high-profile scientific center.
Research at the University of Law and Health - Lille 2 - is centered on two major fields, Life and Health Sciences and Legal, Political, Economic Sciences and Management.
It includes a team of 800 people (more than 550 researchers, teachers-researchers, nearly 270 engineers, technicians, administrative staff) brought together within about fifty groups or teams recognized by major research institutions (INSERM, CNRS), and by the Ministry of National Education, Higher Learning and Research, about fifteen groups or teams currently being developed and funded by our University through a Research Quality bonus program.
With high-performance scientific equipment, a great number of which is shared within the scope of the Medical Computing Study and Research Center, the Shared Physicochemical Department, the University Center of Measurement and Analysis and the Shared Image Analysis Department.
At the University of Lille 2, research is also highly committed to the Federated Research Institutes, created upon the initiative of INSERM, the development Structuring Operations which are part of the State/Regional Plan, and above all the Center of Research in Health-Labor-Ergonomics, the Exploratory Center of Drug Design in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry, advanced communication, the creation of the CNRS, the University of Lille I, the Pasteur Institute of Lille and the FNRS (Belgium) of an Associated European Laboratory of "Structure-Functions of Biomolecules".
