NutrEvent : Where food, drug and ingredient actors converge

 

Eurasanté, the life science economic development agency of the Lille-Nord Pas de Calais Region; the Nutrition, Health and Longevity Cluster, Lille’s network of companies and research institutes in the healthcare and agro-food fields; Lille Grand Palais, the leading events organizer in Lille are glad to announce the second edition of NutrEvent, organized in Lille on June 19-20, 2013.

 

NutrEvent is today the first major event entirely dedicated to Innovation and Research in the field of Nutrition & Health. Nutrevent gathers all the key actors from this sector that intervene in the innovation process (academics researchers, R&D directors, business development managers, marketing managers, regulatory affairs specialists, service providers,…) with one objective in mind: foster and promote collaborative R&D projects between private and public sectors.

The first edition of NutrEvent in 2009 proved by its success the need to organize an event offering opportunities of scientific, technological and commercial partnerships between academia and industry.

To reach this goal, NutrEvent 2011 combined several activities: at the core of the event, NutriPartnering, the NutrEvent business partnering convention, has welcomed more than 500 international participants to organize 2000 pre scheduled one-to-one meetings; NutriConference, NutrEvent’s conference program was composed of 15 workshops featuring 60 international speakers; NutrExpo, an international exhibition with more than 100 stands to promote research and project; NutriCareer, a career fair as a unique opportunity for companies to find new talents and candidates for the jobs they offer.

NutrEvent gets the support of two partners of choice: a prestigious Steering Committee composed of 20 renowned European experts representing industry, academia, clusters, media and associations; EDB Group,that will provide its famous partneringOne® software to manage the partnering activity.

NutriConference

15 conferences to anticipate the future of science and regulation in the world of Nutrition & Health

NutriConference features high-level seminars (validated by an international Scientific Committee) and provides a comprehensive overview of innovation in nutrition and health: technical and scientific advances, market trends, financial and regulatory aspects.

The Conference program, entitled "Innovate from A to Z" is composed of two parallel tracks: Breakthroughs and discoveries from the bench" and "Market trends and regulatory framework." It will be focused on two health fields: "Gut health and immune system" and "cardiometabolic diseases and weight management."

NutrExpo is the leading European trade show dedicated to innovation in nutrition and health. It constitutes a major opportunity to meet as many of the sector's decision makers (scientists, business developers, buyers, etc.) as possible over two days.

As an international benchmark show, NutrExpo is dedicated to research and innovation in the field of nutrition. It brings together the main players in nutrition and health: ingredient and finished product suppliers, research centres, investors, company incubators, clusters, government bodies, trade associations, training organizations, service providers and equipment suppliers.
